Greetings Everyone!
Here is today’s poem. Read slowly … and contemplate. Let the words drop in deeply. The invitation is for you to contemplate these words for yourself. Any meaning and insight will come to you, for you, from that still place inside you. At the end, pause and take a few moments to consider what it means to you.
Brave
Sometimes
a being
comes into our life
to reflect back
who we really are
inside.
Sometimes
who we really are inside
is hidden from us
like a shadow.
Sometimes
we need to endure
more than we think we can.
Sometimes
a brave being
acts like a transmission
until we become
and embody
bravery
within ourselves.
What if …
such beings reflect
our brave-hearted self
until
and as a sign
that we
have ‘it' too!
What if …
when we get
for ourselves
how brave
we really are
these beings
release us
to ourselves.
Do you get
the beauty
of the exchange?
What if …
it's an agreement
that we all BE
for each other
until we can
BE for ourselves
that which they are
for US!
What if …
Gratitude
was the Grace
of Grieving.
BE brave
as a way
of BEing.

That helps a great deal!
Thank you!
There is so much we cannot know, isn't there? It would help to see our loved ones' strength and bravery in the face of disease and death as a gift 'or mirror' to us as what we are capable of being. I certainly remember thinking of how gracefully mine managed their terrible circumstances.
But gratitude in grief? Not sure what that means.
